Installation and Setup

DogeServer connects to your network through Gigabit Ethernet. Configuration and computing-card management take place in the device's web interface.

1. Prepare the installation location

Place the standard 2U chassis on a stable, sturdy surface in a dry, well-ventilated location. Keep at least 40 cm (16 in.) of clearance around the air intake, and leave intake and exhaust vents unobstructed.

Read Safety and Support before connecting the device. DogeServer generates heat and fan noise during continuous operation.

2. Connect Ethernet

Connect the Ethernet port to a router or network switch using an Ethernet cable. DHCP is enabled by default, so the device obtains its IP address automatically.

If you need a static IP address, first let the device obtain an address through DHCP. You can then configure the network settings manually in the web interface.

3. Connect power and start the device

The manual specifies 220 V AC, 50/60 Hz, with 1250 W maximum power consumption. Verify that the power source, cable, and local electrical supply meet these requirements, and use a properly grounded outlet.

Connect the power cable securely. DogeServer is configured to start automatically when AC power is supplied by default. Press the power button to start the device if needed.

4. Open the management interface

  1. Open your router's management interface.
  2. Find the IP address assigned to DogeServer.
  3. On a computer with access to the device's local network, enter that address in a web browser.
  4. Sign in using the default credentials listed in the manual:

Use your device's actual IP address

192.168.1.100 is an example, not a fixed device address. Replace it with the IP address assigned by your router.

5. Assign computing cards

Get your User ID

  1. Download and install the DogeBox App for iOS or Android.
  2. Open the DogeBox App and create an account, then sign in. If you already have an account, sign in with it.
  3. Go to My Account and tap your account's email name five times in succession to copy your ID.
  4. Before entering the ID in DogeServer, manually add a lowercase u at the beginning of the copied ID, with no spaces.

For example, if the copied ID is 110022334455, enter u110022334455 in DogeServer. The u prefix must be added manually; do not paste only the copied ID.

Assign the User ID to your cards

  1. In the DogeServer web management interface, open the Settings page.
  2. Select one or more computing cards.
  3. Enter your User ID including the lowercase u prefix to associate it with the selected cards.
  4. Apply and save the settings using Apply and Save.

The selected cards begin working once the User ID is successfully assigned and saved.

Stop computation on a card

Select the relevant computing card, clear its User ID, and apply and save the change. A blank User ID stops computation on that card.
